Remarques sur le relief de “glimee” en Roumanie
Remarks about the “Glimee” relief in Roumanie

Glimee relief, Landslide, Holocene, Transylvanian Plain, RumaniaAbstract
The distribution of the «glimee» in the Transylvanian Plain is connected with the huge extension of the Sarmatic deposits, which display an alternance of permeable and unpermeable sediments (including clay minerals that facilitate sliding), with a frequently found monoclinal structure. The field research, the study of maps at great scale and of aerial photographs permitted us to accomplish the catalogation of all the lands which present a glimee relief in the Transylvanian Plain, the number of these ones being about five hundred. As a result of pollen analyses (at Bozieş and Pӑdureni-Top) the age glimee was established. The pollen diagrams reveal in the ground peat horizons in the depressions resulted from the landslide processes typical associations of the first part of the Holocene, as mixed oak, (Quercetum mixtum), with spruce (Picea) and hazel (Coryhts). The main ecogeographical characteristic of the relief in the Transylvanian Plain is the asymmetry of the interstream area (the south-western slopes in opposition to the north-eastern ones), as the types of glimee can be distinguished from this point of view as well.
