Further radiometric ages for the fluvial deposits of the Conca river coastal plain (Romagna, Italy)

Abstract

Erosional entrenchement in the Conca river coastal plain (Romagna, Northern Italy) recently exposed a suite of marshy and fluvial deposits made up by two main units separated by a sharp erosion surface. On the basis of the results of ¹⁴C dating of wood samples, the upper and lower units were assigned to the last Pleniglacial and to an earlier phase of the same glaciation, respectively.
