Erosional entrenchement in the Conca river coastal plain (Romagna, Northern Italy) recently exposed a suite of marshy and fluvial deposits made up by two main units separated by a sharp erosion surface. On the basis of the results of 14C dating of wood samples, the upper and lower units were assigned to the last Pleniglacial and to an earlier phase of the same glaciation, respectively.
